This works great and appears to be OEM. The charger worked right away, but I couldn't get the USB data connection to work. It doesn't come with software and I had trouble finding a driver online.
The solution is simple and will hopefully save others a lot of time, because it took me a while to figure it out. I have a Samsung Eternity and under the settings tab and "Connectivity" choose "Select USB Mode". The setting has to be changed to Mass Storage. Then it will function much like a flash drive without any drivers etc. I had full access to the pictures and video on the 2GB MicroSD card in the phone. You may not be able to access the info on the phone itself using this method.
The other option is to upload Samsung PC Studio which gives you a lot more options regarding your content including contact lists etc. Just remember to switch the USB setting to "Samsung PC Studio" if you plan to go that route. It is a free download online from Samsung etc.
Pretty amazing value for less than $2 shipped.
